Marriage prediction by date of birth
This marriage prediction calculator turns two birth dates into a score out of 100. It publishes its full formula, shows every part of the calculation next to the result, and the same two dates always give the same score. Nothing is stored or sent anywhere — the arithmetic runs entirely in your browser.
How the marriage score is calculated
Every marriage score on this page comes from a fixed, published calculation, and the result screen shows each part of it. The first step is turning each birth date into a life path number. The digits of the ISO date are added, and the total is reduced to a single digit from 1 to 9.
For example, 15 August 1990 gives 1+5+0+8+1+9+9+0 = 33, and 3+3 = 6. Once both life path numbers exist, they are put through a pair matrix. The numbers fall into three groups: independent is 1, 5 and 7; grounded is 2, 4 and 8; expressive is 3, 6 and 9.
A pair from the same group starts with a base score of 88. Independent plus expressive starts at 72. Grounded plus expressive starts at 64.
Independent plus grounded starts at 48. After the base score, three modifiers can apply. If the two life path numbers are the same, the score drops by 6.
If their sum is divisible by 9, it rises by 10. If the difference between the numbers is exactly 4 or 5, it drops by 10. Finally, the result is clamped between 0 and 100.
There is no hidden term, no random value, and no interpretation of the dates beyond this arithmetic.
Marriage prediction and kundli matching
Kundli matching is a traditional method that examines birth charts across many factors. This calculator does none of that. It reduces two dates to life path numbers and applies a fixed matrix.
It cannot detect doshas, gunas or planetary positions, and it does not attempt to. If you have a kundli, this score may or may not agree with it; the two methods answer different questions. Use this page as a quick, repeatable number based only on the dates you type.
